Anti-Ragging Policy:

AIMS follows strict 'Anti-Ragging Policy' in line with AICTE / UGC regulations as per the directives of the Supreme Court of India. All the students are required to download, read and sign 'AIMS campus Anti Ragging Policy Form', and all students opting for AIMS accommodation should also sign 'AIMS Accommodation Anti Ragging Policy Form'.

Ragging in colleges and universities has been a norm for many years. Primarily it was meant to be a gesture of extending a warm welcome to the fresher. Eventually it turned out to be derogatory and harmful way of intimidating the new-comers and hence the Supreme Court came up with ananti-ragging policywhich today has become the norm for all Institutes and University bodies.

The senior students of the institute now have a set of laws governing the way they welcome the fresher and anything that causes bodily, psychological or mental discomfort to a fresher will be dealt with grave seriousness by the institute.

If any student is found to be part of an act that may be considered as ragging will have to face the consequences of such an act. The following anti-ragging forms must be downloaded, read carefully and signed by all students who take admissions into AIMS Institutes as well as those who avail the facilities of the hostel accommodation. Moreover, hostel students will have to sign both the forms.
